Our program is 75 hours for a reason – we want our students to feel confident and comfortable upon successful completion; to be able to competently and professionally work with their clients in a holistic manner; and, of course, to be pleased to recommend our workshops to others.  We are professionals providing professional level education.  We treat every aspect of our EnerCHI© Heated Stone Massage Program seriously including intensive course content (both theoretical and hands-on), continued support for students, continuing education following examinations and certification.  The most comprehensive method of examination is to provide both a theoretical and practical component of proficiency.   This acknowledgement of achievement gives students credibility and a sense of confidence for their future clientele. We keep in contact with all our students, especially our graduates through newsletters, emails, phone calls, stopping by, exchanging sessions and our website.

This 75 hour certificate program (upon completion of Modules 1, 2 and Certificate of Proficiency) written and taught by Niki and Sue differs from others available because of its focus on the integration of intent, compassion and holistic approach to the modality.  Our classes are intentionally small:

Module 1 is limited to six students; Module 2 to four students.  Our goal is to maximize theoretical and hands-on experience within a reasonable timeframe.  Exams are limited to 2 students per session to allow personalized attention to detail and to support our students

Module 1 – Learn the very basic foundations for heated stone massage including draping, massage techniques, anatomy and physiology, ethics and much, much more.  This workshop is the first step to certification through AHM.

Module 2 – Builds on the foundations learned in Module 1, adding more intensive information in each area; introduction to business; ethics; effects of massage on various body systems; additional massage techniques; in-depth anatomy and physiology; basic energy, healing and chakra concepts; increasing your confidence and capability; incorporating more techniques; hands-on practice and more.

Certificate of Proficiency – After completion of Modules 1 and 2, students are required to complete 25 case studies (within a 3 month timeframe) and successfully complete a written and practical exam.  It is anticipated that all students will have or will take an authorized first aid/CPR certification course.  Upon satisfactory completion of the above (75 hour program), a numbered “certificate of proficiency” is issued by AHM.  All graduates’ names will have the opportunity to be listed on our website for referrals and to enhance their credibility.

Advanced Heated Stone – This optional workshop is available to those who wish to enhance their skills.  Students must have their EnerCHI© Heated Stone Massage “Certificate of Proficiency” to participate.  It will incorporate more hands-on techniques, alternative draping, lymph drainage, spa techniques and more.  A separate certificate is issued.

Each Level builds upon the knowledge of the previous one and is a requirement to advance to the next level.  Practitioners from other styles and forms of Reiki are welcome with the permission of the instructor.

Each level requires one extra date not listed which will be chosen by class majority.  Some levels have homework, case studies and/or essays to complete for certification.

This 2 day workshop will cover the following topics:

-- Review of body systems and their most common diseases.

-- Exploration of the oils used to treat these diseases and cross reference to each system. (Contraindications included)

-- Creating a "custom prescription"  tailored to your clients needs.

-- Application and treatment methods for use in Reflexology & more.

Participants will both give and receive treatments as part of their workshop training. A Certificate of Participation will be issued after successfully completing the workshop & 5 case studies. Handouts and reference materials will be given.

Essential oils will be provided during class for practicals.

Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) is a wonderfully easy to learn and use tool from the emerging field of 'energy psychology'. It’s perfect for releasing the negative emotions and physical pain that can hinder our success in life. EFT was developed by Gary Craig, based on the landmark discoveries of Dr. Roger Callahan. It's a form of acupuncture, except we don't use needles! The wonder of EFT is that it is simple, gentle, and quick, and can be used by any age group, anywhere, anytime

There is no pre-requisite for EFT -- the introduction is open to everyone.  Each level builds on the previous one and is therefore a requirement.

Master level is really mastery of oneself. Certification at a master level allows the student the privilege of teaching others and providing attunements should they choose.  Some of us choose to be master for only ourselves.  For those who chose to teach, there are additional symbols, attunements and training.

In this interactive class, participants will learn the importance of a variety of herbs for everyday ailments.  Using a body systems model, you will learn the affinity of various herbs to the organs and glands and conditions of the body.  48 wonders of mother nature will be beautifully presented in an ongoing powerpoint presentation.  You'll practice with practical case studies.  Time will be spent in each class preparing herbal potions to include: healthy teas, decoctions, poultices and ointments.

Although this course has been designed for Natural Health Practitioners, it is also suitable for anyone wanting to care for their family in a healthy way.
